As a Senior Move Consultant, you will manage the entire move process from inquiry to completion, ensuring seamless coordination and customer satisfaction. You'll also act as a role model, training and supporting team members, while maintaining strong client and partner relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end move processes, including initial inquiry, quoting, and service bookings.
- Accurately assess and record client requirements for tailored move solutions.
- Ensure efficient international import/export shipment clearance and delivery.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, customs brokers, and internal teams to meet deadlines.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and FIDI/FAIM standards throughout the move.
- Prepare and update relocation status reports, financial records, and tracking systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues quickly and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with pricing, quoting, and invoicing to achieve target profit margins.
- Mentor and train new team members, fostering their professional development.
- Represent the company as a trusted ambassador with clients and external partners.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years’ experience in household goods moving or relocation services is required.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Strong geographical knowledge and global awareness.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Proficient with Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Positive attitude with a client-focused approach.
- Technical competence in a European language (advantageous).
- Personal experience with cultural adaptation or living/working abroad.
- Strong verbal and numerical reasoning skills.
- Previous moving experience is always required.
