This client specialises in services for Household Removals and hold professionalism, reliability and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction as key values of the business. The position requires a versatile and driven professional to drive new business operations through sales and managing depot operations on a day-to-day basis, maintaining smooth handling of removals and nurturing customer relationships to extend the company’s growth.
Role Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction at the highest levels.
- Travel to site when necessary to provide clients with accurate estimates and professional advice.
- Responsible for preparing equipment, inventory & vehicles for readiness in the execution of removal projects.
- Ensure that all legislation is complied with by maintaining health and safety on site and at the depot.
- Manage the depot's day-to-day operations, making sure everything goes smoothly and effectively.
- Oversee the scheduling of removal crews to ensure service is provided in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee, support, and motivate the depot staff, providing guidance and advice as appropriate.
- Identify and maximize new business opportunities for increasing sales and expanding the client base.
- Respond to client inquiries, quotations, and confirmation calls for bookings.
- Monitor and evaluate sales results, reporting on progress and highlighting areas for improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
- Full UK Drivers Licence
- Knowledge of removals, storage or logistics (highly desirable)
- Proven track record in depot/operations management and/or sales, preferably within the logistics or removals industry.
- Experienced in site surveys and quotations (highly desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong relationship building abilities for building trust between colleagues and customers alike.
- Expertise on local removals and transport regulations. (highly desirable)
- Strong problem solving skills, proactive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- IT Competent with using systems such as scheduling tools, CRM software and Microsoft Office.
