We are looking for a dedicated Senior Dutch Immigration Consultant to join an existing team, working on-site with a corporate client, managing all aspects of the immigration journey. This role requires a proactive approach, focusing on seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. If you’re an experienced immigration professional with excellent organizational and advisory skills, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a high-visibility, client-centered position.
The role will based on a hybrid working schedule which is:
  • Week 1 at the client office in Hilversum on Tuesday
  • Week 2 at the company office in the Hague on Tuesday & the client office in Hilversum on Wednesday
Please note, this role is only available on a 40 hour working week.

Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, keeping them informed of any changes in regulations or processes and acting as a reliable point of contact throughout their immigration journey.
  • Comprehensive Case Handling: Manage the entire immigration process, including assessing cases, initiating procedures, advising on requirements, preparing and submitting applications, tracking progress, and completing follow-ups.
  • Global Coordination: Collaborate with international colleagues and external service providers to ensure smooth, efficient immigration support that meets client needs.
  • Documentation Preparation & Accuracy: Prepare and review all necessary documents, including applications, petitions, support letters, and compliance paperwork, ensuring each submission is accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
  • Consular and Embassy Assistance: Assist clients with obtaining necessary documentation, including visas, work permits, passports, and certificates, while coordinating consular matters such as document authentication and certifications.
  • Compliance and Mock Audits: Conduct mock audits to verify adherence to immigration laws, regulations, and company standards, supporting the company’s compliance goals and ethical culture.
  • Compliance Meetings & Follow-Up: Oversee and attend compliance and audit meetings, prepare follow-up reports, and liaise with clients to ensure recommended actions are implemented promptly.
  • Problem Solving & Advisory: Address issues that may affect the immigration process—such as travel schedules, dependent needs, and medical requirements—and proactively resolve challenges.
  • Service Excellence & Timely Communication: Provide responsive, client-focused service by answering inquiries quickly and thoroughly, ensuring all advice and guidance are both accurate and comprehensive.
  • Client and Company Data Management: Maintain secure, accurate records of client information and immigration processes in the company’s secure database, adhering to data protection and compliance standards.
  • Training & Mentorship: Support the development of junior team members by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to enhance their immigration expertise and service approach.
  • Business Development Support: Help identify and pursue new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and reach of our services.
  • Regular Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and other data-driven insights for clients and internal stakeholders, helping monitor key metrics and client-specific needs.
Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience: At least 4-5 years of Dutch immigration experience, with prior exposure in a senior role or as a paralegal.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills to effectively support clients and collaborate with colleagues globally.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess and resolve diverse, complex situations with well-thought-out, practical solutions.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to handle multiple cases and responsibilities with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Proficiency in drafting reports, client correspondence, and other regulatory documents with accuracy and thoroughness.
