International shipments of household items must be planned, coordinated, and managed by this role. International move coordinating experience is essential for this position.
Responsibilities for the role include:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the relocation process.
- Coordinate all aspects of international moves, including shipping, customs documentation, and scheduling.
- Provide detailed pre-move consultations to ensure clients understand the process and requirements.
- Liaise with international agents, partners, and service providers to ensure seamless coordination.
- Monitor shipment progress and resolve any delays or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements in destination countries.
- Prepare and manage cost estimates, invoices, and other financial documents related to moves.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all relocation activities in the company’s system.
- Provide regular updates and proactive communication to clients regarding their move status.
- Identify opportunities to improve the client experience and internal processes.
Requirements for the role include:
- Previous experience as an International Move Manager within the moving industry.
- Previous experience utilizing moving CRM systems.
- Capable of handling several moving jobs concurrently.
- Detailed-oriented with a goal to provide excellent moving customer service.
- Able to use customer service databases and Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and speaking.
- Capacity to cooperate and help others while working in a team setting.
