This role will develop and manage international sales by providing services to current clients and pursuing new leads. This role reports to the Director of Sales & Business Development.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement business plans for an assigned region focused on aftermarket spare parts and Land vehicle sales for the OEM’s they represent in the Defense industry
- Meet sales targets and increase market presence
- Produce and provide the marketing materials required to market and sell products and services
- Attend trade events as necessary to represent and promote the company
- Reach firm business and sales targets
- Conduct frequent customer visits that require frequent travel
- Show that you are aware of the local customs and cultures
- Gain knowledge of client trends, requirements and budget cycles
- Interact with clients over the phone, fax, and email
- Conduct client satisfaction surveys
Requirements:
- Having in-depth understanding of the defense industry and its clientele
- The capacity to grow the aftermarket industry's customer base and revenue
- The importance of building relationships, spotting possibilities, and having good account management abilities
- Knowledge of trends, challenges, events, and requirements in the global Defense market
- Capability to develop processes, business letters, and reports
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Highly driven, energetic, and success-focused
- Exhibit outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building abilities and are courteous and tactful.
- Must be extremely organised, meticulous, and capable of working under pressure.
- Prior account management or sales expertise is necessary
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- A bachelor's degree and/or five to seven years of relevant experience
