We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Sales Administrator to join our client's team in Tokyo.

As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting their sales operations, managing client interactions, and ensuring smooth logistical processes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop new local accounts and explore business opportunities through various channels such as telemarketing, networking, and marketing events.
- Support the manager in preparing sales documents and scheduling client appointments.
- Gather costs from freight forwarding companies for Air/Sea/Land shipments and our offices or international partners to assist in quote preparation.
- Visit operational sites for outbound and inbound shipments when necessary.
- Collect customs requirements for both origin and destination, and understand the general shipping processes.
- Record shipment data and quotes using the company’s internal system.
- Prepare weekly sales reports for meetings and monthly reports for management.
- Collaborate with the manager to identify the optimal export/import routes based on individual customer needs and document the quote status.
- Follow up on payment settlements as needed.
- Assist the manager in managing complaints and resolving any issues that arise.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in written and spoken English & Japanese
- High degree of professionalism and strong interpersonal abilities.
- Outgoing, proactive personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Prior experience in Freight Forwarding, International Trade, International Hotels, or foreign organizations is preferred.
- Effective communication skills, both written and in-person.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask efficiently within set deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic computer skills.
- College diploma or higher.
