The ideal applicant would be well-versed in inside sales and have dealt with requests for proposals (RFPs) before. This position requires a proactive approach to company development and client interaction, as well as outstanding communication skills and painstaking attention to detail.
Responsibilities of the Inside Moving Sales Consultant & RFP Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
- Answer incoming sales questions in a timely and professional manner while offering potential customers specialized solutions.
- Create and implement sales strategies to reach or surpass revenue targets.
- Draft, oversee, and submit precise and thorough RFPs for corporate clients.
- Work together with the logistics and operations departments to make sure that client needs and service capabilities are in line.
- Develop and preserve ties with corporate clients to encourage recommendations and repeat business.
- Keep abreast with market developments, rivalry, and customer needs.
- Collaborate with marketing groups to create persuasive presentations and sales collateral.
- Create performance evaluations and sales reports on a regular basis for upper management.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements and Experience:
- Proven inside sales expertise in the moving and relocation sector.
- Solid understanding of document creation and the RFP process.
- Outstanding writing and vocal communication abilities.
- Ability to use CRM software and other sales tools effectively.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
- Preferably, a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a similar discipline.
