We are looking for a dedicated Senior Dutch Immigration Consultant to join an existing team, working on-site with a corporate client, managing all aspects of the immigration journey. The Senior Immigration Consultant On-Site (Dutch) manages immigration processes with expertise in Dutch immigration and a basic understanding of EMEA requirements. The role involves collaborating with the client’s Immigration Managers, Recruiters, and internal teams to support employees and their families.
The role will based on a hybrid working schedule which is:
- Week 1 at the client office in Hilversum on Tuesday
- Week 2 at the company office in the Hague on Tuesday & the client office in Hilversum on Wednesday
Please note, this role is only available on a 40 hour working week.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary operational contact for the client’s Regional Immigration Managers and stakeholders.
- Manage high-volume and sensitive immigration cases, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
- Proactively initiate case renewals or extensions and assess deregistration needs based on employee circumstances.
- Gather, verify, and organize required documentation for immigration processes.
- Maintain accurate records in the case management system and prepare/submit forms for immigration processes in applicable regions.
- Support the design and implementation of global immigration policies, tools, and processes.
- Identify and recommend improvements to operational workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership to address complex cases.
- Manage VIP cases and provide tailored advice on visa and permit options.
- Review termination reports and determine if deregistration is required.
- Generate reports to monitor deadlines and ensure compliance.
- Mentor team members, provide training, and support onboarding of new hires.
- Deliver high-quality, compliant immigration casework in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- Experience: At least 4-5 years of Dutch immigration experience, with prior exposure in a senior role or as a paralegal.
- Strong understanding of EU immigration requirements through experience with local authorities or network partners.
- Client relationship management experience is preferred.
