Alchemy is partnering exclusively with our global services firm in their search for an HR Manager to join their team in Hong Kong. The HR Manager will join the Hong Kong management team to provide strategic leadership, support the HR team, and drive the business forward.
This role is instrumental in shaping the growth and expansion strategy of the organization in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all HR activities across Hong Kong and Taiwan, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop, implement, and review HR policies and procedures that are globally aligned and comply with local regulations.
- Partner with leadership to create and execute strategies for business growth and expansion.
- Collaborate with management to enhance employee engagement through data-driven initiatives derived from annual surveys.
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including transformation programs and people-focused projects.
- Manage payroll and payroll outsourcing processes for the region.
- Ensure the annual personnel cost budget is completed accurately and on time.
- Build, mentor, and oversee the HR team at the Hong Kong office.
- Drive performance management development and support the HR team to meet the company’s growth needs.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of HR generalist experience in a multinational corporation (MNC).
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically and contribute to business planning.
- Strong leadership skills with a proactive, detail-oriented, and can-do attitude.
- Exceptional multi-tasking capabilities and the ability to manage HR projects and transformations effectively.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese or Mandarin is mandatory.
