Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute customer acquisition and retention strategies, utilizing marketing channels and targeted promotions to drive conversion and engagement
- Boost online sales by making informed, data-driven decisions, tracking essential metrics like revenue, acquisition costs, and customer lifetime value to ensure growth remains profitable
- Conduct ongoing analysis of the aviation consumables market and competitor landscape to uncover unique opportunities and competitive advantages
- Coordinate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Procurement teams to align on product selections, website content, and promotional initiatives tailored to target audiences
- Lead initiatives to enhance website functionality and customer experience, collaborating with IT and external vendors to improve features, usability, and backend processes
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through effective contract strategies
- Visit clients across the UK and Europe to nurture and strengthen professional relationships
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events, working with marketing teams to increase brand recognition
- Install a culture that prioritizes and fosters consistent sales growth.
- Prepare and present comprehensive sales data reports for monthly management meetings, providing insights and analysis as required
- Generate regular reports on eCommerce performance, utilising analytics to guide and refine strategies as necessary
- Experienced with eCommerce platforms, including Magento, Shopify, and custom CMS systems
- Experienced in SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, and CRM tools
- Proficient in analysing and acting on eCommerce data and performance metrics
- Proven ability in securing support contracts and achieving sales targets
- Strong industry connections with airlines and MROs, with experience in selling maintenance chemicals, consumables, and expendables
- Background in other aviation sectors, such as military or helicopters, is beneficial
- Excellent communication and networking skills, both written and verbal
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
- Skilled in IT tools, including Power BI for business intelligence
