The Business Development Manager will focus solely on bringing new relocation services business to the team. The ideal candidate will have local market knowledge within the global mobility and relocation sector with a local professional network.
Key duties of the Business Development Manager role:
- Hunt new client accounts in need of relocation and global mobility services across Zurich and surrounding area
- Identify and follow leads with a view to turn these leads into new booked business
- Create new revenue streams within the Relocation and Assignment Management Services
- Deliver consultative advice to your clients, keeping in mind current industry updates and market trends
- Create accurate documents and pitch sales presentations
- Meet and ideally exceed revenue targets and new appointment targets
- Provide weekly reports and pipeline figures to regional leadership detailing sales activity and sales progression
- Manage your own diary and time efficiently to optimise appointment level
- Attend events, locally and abroad and be a public speaking ambassador for the business
Experience required:
- Excellent knowledge of the Global Relocation sector
- Fluent Swiss German and Fluency in English is essential.
- Natural sales person, with the ability to hunt and close business deals
- Bachelors’ degree of Science is highly preferred
- Formal negotiation or presentation training
- Current knowledge and Market trend awareness of the Relocation/Global Mobility industry
- Extensive skills in the development and delivery of sales presentations
- Selling vertical markets
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
- Successful new business development history using consultative selling
