We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding and Logistics organisation seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Essex.
You will be responsible for selling services for air freight, sea freight and road freight.
Responsibilities;
- Responsible for sourcing your own business leads
- Generating new sales for all modes of transport
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve the company's sales goals and objectives
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and stakeholders
Skills Required;
- Strong sales experience within the freight forwarding industry
- Experience selling sea, air and road freight
- Global freight forwarding experience
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Good attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
