Role and Responsibilities

- Develop and implement tailored strategies to attract new consignments while maintaining client satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with current valuation clients, offering ongoing advice and support.
- Keep clients informed about market trends, auction results, and upcoming consignment opportunities.
- Develop strategies to retain and engage valuation clients, establishing the company as a reliable partner for future consignments.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as Specialists, Marketing, and Client Development to gather information on potential prospects.
- Use internal data to identify new consignment opportunities and optimise client strategies.
- Ensure effective cross-departmental communication to maximise consignment potential.
- Lead initiatives to expand the business in specific regions, focussing on both existing customers and new prospects.
- Organise and participate in regional events, private viewings, and marketing campaigns to attract wealthy individuals and collectors.
- Monitor regional market trends and develop strategies to capitalise on new consignment opportunities.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients by providing personalised service to meet their consignment needs.
- As a trusted advisor, provide insights into the consignment process and help clients maximise the value of their collections at auction.
- Oversee consignment logistics and administration to ensure that the process from valuation to auction runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to manage consignments, which include transportation, auction preparation, and final sales.
- Stay current on art market trends, auction results, and upcoming sales to provide clients with relevant advice.
- Work closely with specialists to determine the value of consigned artworks and effectively communicate this to clients.
- Monitor and report on client engagement, consignment activity, and regional growth initiatives.
- Analyse client feedback and market data to improve strategies for increasing consignment volume and customer retention.
