We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Manager to lead our client's Immigration Services team in Oxfordshire. This role combines technical expertise, operational management, and business development to ensure the delivery of exceptional service to clients. As a key leader within the organization, you will drive performance, foster team development, and maintain their position as a trusted partner in the immigration sector.

About the Role:

  • Office based 3 days per week, WFH two days per week
  • Salary up to £60,000 + Discretionary bonus scheme
  • 25 days annual holiday + Bank Holidays

Key Responsibilities:
Immigration Casework and Advisory Services

  • Manage all aspects of business and personal immigration casework, offering technical expertise and guidance to team members.
  • Provide high-quality immigration advice and lead on complex casework.
  • Supervise consultants and paralegals, overseeing their daily activities and ensuring caseloads are effectively managed.
  • In collaboration with the MD and PD, set performance targets for team members.
  • Deliver training sessions to the legal team as required, ensuring continual professional growth.
  • Ensure all team members meet their Continual Professional Development (CPD) obligations.

Operational and Financial Oversight

  • Partner with the MD and PD to achieve financial performance targets and KPIs.
  • Align team activities with the business plan and monthly financial goals.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities for new services and improvements.
  • Uphold high standards of client satisfaction.

Business Development and Market Positioning

  • Represent the organization through seminars, webinars, and HR forums.
  • Monitor and refine internal processes to optimize workflow efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development Director and external PR teams to stay ahead of regulatory changes and share industry trends.
  • Work with the MD to develop strategies that strengthen market positioning.

Content and Client Engagement

  • Write editorials for professional journals and ensure timely updates to electronic media, including the company website and LinkedIn.
  • Maximize the reach and engagement of the organization’s social media networks.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients by arranging meetings and promoting new services or immigration categories.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • OISC Level 1 qualification or higher.
  • Proven recent experience in a similar role, with expertise in client account and team management.
  • Strong educational background with a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
