The Assistant Controller will play a critical role in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and treasury functions, while also maintaining training materials and supporting various departmental projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial performance reports to provide actionable insights.
- Assist in the successful completion of company audits.
- Generate and maintain accurate data for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Treasury departments.
- Develop, update, and distribute training materials across accounting departments.
- Create and report weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to senior leadership, including VPs, the Controller, and the CFO.
- Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as needed, supporting the General Ledger team.
- Collaborate with the Controller to streamline processes and implement improvements across departments.
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to protect company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable accounts monthly.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication and resolution.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
- A minimum of 3 years of accounting, finance, and management experience (required).
- Proficiency in accounting software and company-specific software tools.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated expertise in general accounting practices and financial reporting.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
