Country Manager – India
Alchemy is looking for a proactive and experienced Country Manager to oversee and drive business growth at a top household goods shipping company in India. This position entails managing many branches, providing seamless operational integration, and improving the effectiveness of the business development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate and private client management within the moving and relocation sector.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead, supervise, and coach the sales and business development teams.
- Oversee operations in different areas to ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
- Create and implement strategies for growing corporate and private client business.
- Increase sales through innovative company development strategies.
- Streamline operations to ensure efficiency and seamless service delivery.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with key business and private clientele.
- Analyse market trends and competition activity to find potential growth opportunities.
- Ensure that revenue targets and performance metrics are met or exceeded.
- Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to coordinate initiatives.
- Comply with local rules and company requirements.
- Monitor and increase customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities.
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of ten years of expertise in the moving and mobility industry, with an emphasis on household goods (HHG) services.
- Proven experience leading sales teams and driving business success.
- Excellent ability to manage corporate and private customer accounts.
- Building and maintaining client connections requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strategic thinking combined with a results-oriented approach to leadership.
