As the Senior Immigration Consultant, you will be responsible for managing inbound and outbound immigration processes for short-term and long-term transferees, covering both EU and non-EU citizens. From arrival to the completion of the assignment, you will serve as the main point of contact for all immigration-related matters, providing expert guidance and support. Proactive problem-solving, strict adherence to deadlines, and effective communication with stakeholders regarding required tasks and regulatory immigration changes are essential for success in this role.
You will offer immigration counsel, as well as guidance on the legalization and translation of documents. Responsibilities include processing visa and immigration applications and managing outbound immigration matters. From immigration case initiation to completion, you will oversee the process, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand and align with each client’s policies and approach to global mobility to enhance service delivery.
- Advise relocating employees and clients on immigration requirements, costs, timelines, and available options.
- Conduct case assessments to determine residence and work permit eligibility based on client-provided information.
- Prepare quotations and assessments for internal teams and global offices.
- Provide accurate and compliant guidance on document legalization.
- Draft detailed advisory reports on inbound immigration procedures.
- Complete visa and immigration applications while ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain up-to-date client records and track key deadlines.
- Review and approve invoices from service providers.
- Manage invoicing and reporting tasks efficiently.
- Stay informed on immigration laws and regulatory changes, preparing updates for internal and client use.
- Engage with government agencies, clients, and colleagues to clarify immigration procedures in simple terms.
- Participate in client meetings, providing subject matter expertise to support business development efforts.
- Deliver training and updates to clients on immigration-related topics
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
- Preferably over five years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of immigration regulations
- Ability to interpret and apply immigration policies effectively.
- Proficiency in Flemish, French, and English (written and spoken).
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service.
