Logistics Coordinator – Florence, Italy

A Florence based Fine Art Shipping company are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with museums, exhibitions, and private clients within the specialist transport and relocation industry. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Providing logistics support for transport services
  • Organising and managing work schedules for transport and logistics staff.
  • Preparing detailed loading and unloading plans for cultural goods transport.
  • Coordinating complex, multimodal transport operations across domestic and international routes.
  • Managing necessary equipment and material requirements for each job.
  • Supervising and maintaining site documentation, ensuring compliance with project needs.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor operations and ensure service excellence.
  • Overseeing mandatory staff training and certifications related to transport logistics.
  • Acting as the primary contact for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ENAC, and ICEFAT compliance.
  • Liaising with museums, galleries, and private clients to ensure safe handling and movement of goods.
  • Supporting exhibition and event logistics, including installation coordination.
  • Ensuring adherence to industry safety and preservation standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to optimise workflow and reduce delays.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in fine art transport industry.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with an eye for detail.
  • Experience working with industry standards and certifications (e.g., ISO, ENAC, ICEFAT).
  • Excellent communication and client coordination abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Fluent in English (additional European languages a plus)
