Our client, a prominent worldwide removals company, is looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help promote operational excellence. This position demands a strategic leader to manage resources, coordinate move schedules, and optimise logistics and staff performance to ensure smooth service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily removal operations in the UK, ensuring that high service standards and efficiency are upheld.
- To guarantee a seamless move, supervise and train warehouse staff, moving crews, and subcontractors.
- Plan and schedule work at least seven days ahead of time to optimise the use of available resources.
- Work together with the customer service, transportation, and sales teams to ensure accurate move planning.
- Supervise the recruitment, training, and performance of warehouse and removal crew employees.
- Assess risks and monitor compliance with safety and health regulations.
- Assure appropriate vehicle upkeep, distribution, and compliance with rules.
- To identify areas that need improvement, monitor and assess operational performance.
- Manage toolboxes, supplies, uniforms, and budgets to reduce costs.
- Act as the main contact for the removals crew and handle any operational issues.
Requirements:
- A history of effectively overseeing operations in the relocation or removals industry is essential.
- Strong leadership skills that improve performance and team management.
- Knowledge of logistics, transportation planning, and personnel scheduling.
- Familiarity with Moveware and other move management CRM programs.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle operational challenges immediately.
- Outstanding communication skills to engage with internal teams, removal clients, and other stakeholders.
