The Interstate Move Coordinator will be in charge of planning every aspect of residential clients' interstate relocations. Strong logistics management, moving schedule coordination, and van line experience are required to be successful in this position.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Plan, oversee and carry out all Interstate moves strategically, from start to finish.
- Act as the client's main point of contact, guiding them through the moving process, giving them updates regularly and addressing any moving-related problems.
- Create thorough moving plans that include the schedules, routes, and supplies required for successful moves.
- Respect all applicable state and federal laws regarding safe transportation and interstate relocation.
- Oversee and keep an eye on each project's moving budget to make sure all costs are reasonable and reported.
- Manage claims and client feedback effectively throughout the relocation to uphold excellent service standards and client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all moving-related operations, such as contracts, inventories, and correspondence.
- Make use of specialised moving and logistics tools to improve team communication and operational efficiency.
Requirements of the role include:
- Experienced management expertise in interstate moving, specifically with a van line company.
- A thorough awareness of logistics and the unique needs of interstate moving procedures.
- Outstanding project management and organisational abilities; able to oversee several active projects at once.
