Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of National Shuttle Team drivers, ensuring standards are met in connection to BOLs, drivers logs, inventory control, scanning, handling.
- implement load planning techniques and trucking routes to maximise efficiency.
- Monitor dispatch ensuring quick and proficient turnaround in line with account management standards and estimates.
- Provide real-time tracking and updates on weekly routes, deliveries, collections and offsite deliveries.
- Guaranteeing the National Shuttle Fleet is compliant with ELD logs and DOT regulations, collaborating within the team to ensure high-level performance of the equipment
- Be the first point of contact and support for driving teams when transporting artwork in both local areas and offsite locations.
- uphold high standard of safety culture.
- Provide semi-annual feedback and performance reviews for team members and direct reports.
- Ensure a positive and engaging work atmosphere by coaching, mentoring and motivating team members.
Skills And Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant experience, hands on experience shuttle team driving preferred but not essential.
- Team collaborator who works well in a fast paced, results driven workplace.
- Excellent communication with proficient multitasking and strategic thinking.
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems.
- Ability to push and pull up to 150 pounds on a dolly or cart, as well as 50 pounds without mechanical aid.
- Ability to carry items up to 40 pounds of a variety of shapes up to a distance of 90 feet.
- Be able to perform different movements when working including reaching overhead, twisting, kneeling, crouching, squatting and lifting.
