A Logistics organisation in Long Beach, CA are looking for an Import Customer Service Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities;
  • Providing customer service for the Import customers 
  • Responsible for handling all customer service queries
  • Organising follow up phone calls
  • Tracing cargo information
  • Be the main point of contact for all customers
  • Responsible for keying orders into the system
  • Ensuring import cargo is delivered on time
  • Dispatch delivery arrangement upon cargo/container arrival 
  • Prepare the shipping file for billing 
  • Prepare documentation for ocean carriers
  • Assist with project cargo activities
  • Process all orders 
  • Examine bills of lading documents

Skills Required;
  • Import customer service experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • SAP experience is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience processing orders
  • Experience working within logistics
