Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the removals company, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Lead and manage a team, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the business and increase revenue.
- Maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, including estate agents and corporate clients.
- Manage budgets and financial performance, including setting targets and controlling costs.
- Ensure the company complies with all health and safety regulations and other legal requirements.
- Develop and manage KPIs to track and improve performance across the business.
- Implement new technology and processes to improve efficiency and service levels.
- Handle customer complaints and disputes professionally, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Explore opportunities for expanding services or entering new markets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the removals, logistics, or similar industry.
- Strong financial acumen, including experience managing budgets and driving profitability.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in removals.
- Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a positive working environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong business development skills.
- A CPC licence holder is preferred.
