This is a unique opportunity for someone with experience in fine art logistics to thrive in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment. You will play a vital role in coordinating shipments and ensuring compliance with customs regulations both in the UK and globally, hybrid working structure.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a high-profile account specializing in the transportation of sculptures globally.
- Coordinate shipments, ensuring adherence to timelines, moving client requirements, and customs regulations.
- Utilize the CDS system for importing and exporting items under Temporary Admission (TA) protocols.
- Maintain a deep understanding of UK and international customs processes, ensuring compliance at all stages.
- Serve as the main point of contact for moving clients, providing regular updates and addressing queries promptly.
- Work closely with customs brokers and freight forwarders to streamline moving operations.
- Monitor and manage all documentation related to imports, exports, and Temporary Admissions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with moving clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Conduct periodic visits to the office for team collaboration and strategic planning.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in the moving and relocation industry.
- Strong knowledge of the CDS system for customs documentation and Temporary Admissions.
- Familiarity with UK and international customs regulations.
- Experience in the art world, specifically in managing fine art or sculptures, is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Ability to travel to the Luton office twice a month for in-person collaboration.
