We are partnering with an innovative Aerospace and Defense company that is seeking a Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize their warehouse operations in Milwaukee. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping materials. Ensure the efficient handling of goods, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Quality Assurance, and Facilities) to design, implement, and continually improve warehouse processes, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, ensuring accurate stock levels, timely cycle counts, and optimal material replenishment. Lead efforts to resolve inventory discrepancies and improve data integrity within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance and fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure proper staffing levels and high employee engagement.
  • Drive performance metrics for warehouse operations, monitor KPIs, and initiate process improvements to streamline operations and reduce costs. Implement best practices for efficiency and scalability.
  • Ensure the warehouse environment meets all safety standards and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to minimize workplace risks and improve safety compliance.
  • Monitor operational performance and prepare regular reports for senior leadership. Assist with budget planning and cost control initiatives for the warehouse function.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations, with a preference for experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry or similarly regulated sectors.
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams in a warehouse or distribution environment, with a demonstrated ability to drive performance and foster a positive, results-oriented work culture.
  • In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and distribution.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control systems, with the ability to identify and resolve operational challenges.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across warehouse processes.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels and effectively manage cross-functional collaborations.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 100 lbs of materials as needed. Must be able to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
