Key Responsibilities:

Alchemy is excited to be working with a renowned gallery who are looking to bring on an experienced professional to join their expanding team as the Head of Shipping in London. 
 
This individual will be responsible for all aspects of artwork transportation, ensuring compliance and protocols are followed and collaborating with the wider team. Reporting directly to the Chief Operations Officer.  
 
Responsibilities: 
 
<ul>
	<li>Coordinate and manage all shipping activities, including transportation, customs clearance, packing and crating.
	<li>Ensure the safe handling and transportation of artworks, using appropriate methods. 
	<li>Negotiate bespoke shipping costs to optimize costs without compromising quality.
	<li>Troubleshoot to rectify problems in a timely manner and ensure all stakeholders are updated promptly.
	<li>Ensure all shipments are carried out in full compliance with local/international regulations, such as Export and CITES licenses.
	<li>Handle inbound and outbound MIBs for staff members when required.

Alchemy is excited to be working with a leading gallery who are looking to expand their team with the role of Senior Registrar / Shipping Manager in London. 
 
This individual will be reporting directly to the Head of Shipping and will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling and execution of multiple projects both domestically and internationally and ensuring all aspects shipments are delivered safely, professionally, on time and in-line with company standards.  
 
Responsibilities: 
 
<ul>
	<li>Obtain shipping quotes from approved Shippers for inbound and outbound shipment of artworks. Negotiating bespoke shipping costs for complex shipments and installations.
	<li>Manage each individual shipment to fit bespoke client needs including packing specifications, paperwork preparation, liaison with relevant regulatory bodies and freight quote sourcing and booking.
	<li>Monitor the progress of international & domestic outbound shipments, troubleshooting to rectify problems in a timely manner and ensure all stakeholders are informed accordingly.
	<li>Ensure shipments are carried out in full compliance with local/international regulations, such as Export and CITES licenses
