We are seeking a Moving Residential Salesperson on behalf of a well-established moving and relocation company in Newark, NJ. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated sales professional to connect with residential customers, providing tailored moving solutions that meet their unique relocation needs.

The ideal candidate will have sales experience in the moving industry, strong communication skills, and a passion for helping customers navigate their relocation process. This role requires a proactive individual who can generate leads, close sales, and ensure a smooth transition for clients from initial consultation to final move.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate leads and connect with homeowners planning to move.
  • Conduct in-home or virtual consultations to assess customer needs and provide accurate moving estimates.
  • Educate potential clients on the company’s moving services, pricing, and processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with residential clients to drive repeat and referral business.
  • Follow up on leads promptly and manage a pipeline of potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless scheduling and execution of moves.
  • Prepare and present customized moving proposals to meet client budgets and timelines.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
  • Handle customer concerns and provide solutions to ensure a positive moving experience.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.


Requirements:

  • Sales experience in the moving, relocation, or logistics industry preferred.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to generate leads and close sales effectively.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for in-home consultations within Newark, NJ.
