Our client is a prominent Moving & Storage company based near Taunton, offering comprehensive removal and storage solutions to residential and commercial clients.They are seeking a dedicated Removals & Storage Sales Manager to join their team. 

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading the sales efforts, developing business opportunities, and managing client relationships in the removals and storage sectors. This role plays a crucial part in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and targets.
  • Undertake removal surveys both in person and virtually. 
  • Identify and pursue new removals & storage business opportunities through proactive sales techniques.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing removals & storage clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional campaigns and materials.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and contracts to potential removals & storage clients.
  • Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure seamless execution of services.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the sales team, including training and mentoring.
  • Track sales performance and generate regular reports for management.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales management within the removals and storage industry.
  • Strong sales skills with a successful track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a sales team to achieve objectives.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to travel within the region and occasionally work outside normal business hours.
