The Depot Manager will oversee the branch’s operations, ensuring efficient service delivery while maintaining high operational standards. This individual will lead with a positive, results-oriented approach, balancing customer satisfaction with operational effectiveness and profitability. As the main point of contact for key departments, the Depot Manager will play a pivotal role in upholding the company's commitment to safety and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Residential and Commercial Sales teams, making key decisions.
  • Analyze financial statements, including gross profit, pack ratios, and labor costs, to optimize profitability.
  • Manage real-time capacity, equipment status, and quality score tracking to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Oversee administrative functions for smooth branch operations.
  • Address and resolve service escalations to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Approve and monitor branch expenses in alignment with budgetary targets.
  • Cultivate a team-oriented environment focused on employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Implement safety policies in accordance with company standards and participate in random drug testing.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align branch performance with corporate goals.
  • Represent the branch in supporting charitable and community outreach programs.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of management experience in the moving, storage, or transportation sector.
  • Proven leadership and team-building abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience reviewing financial and operational metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe, customer-focused operational environment.
