Business Development Executive

Our client is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive with a proven ability to raise capital and leverage an extensive network. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership to identify and secure high-value sales and investment opportunities that drive growth and revenue.

Initially, your focus will be on boosting sales for an innovative technology platform within the entertainment and events sector. You will also support international expansion efforts by introducing this groundbreaking product line into new territories. As a key member of the team, you will leverage your regional network to uncover and secure new business opportunities.

Utilizing your existing connections and cultivating new relationships, you will attend exclusive events and engage with high-net-worth individuals and industry leaders to generate promising leads.

Our ideal candidate is driven to support sales and investment initiatives across a diversified portfolio of technology solutions. Experience in sales, marketing, account management, business development, or a related field is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth market research to uncover prospective clients and investors, while tracking industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Discover, secure, and nurture fresh business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Cultivate, manage, and grow relationships with existing investors and clients through regular engagement and personalized follow-ups.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously refine innovative sales strategies that adapt to evolving market dynamics.
  • Organize and participate in exclusive investor and networking events, ensuring meaningful interactions and follow-up actions.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels—from senior management to frontline staff—to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Assist in crafting comprehensive business plans, persuasive sales pitches, engaging presentations, and other critical documents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align business development efforts across the organization.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is considered an asset; equivalent professional experience will also be valued.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a comparable role, with a proven ability to drive new business initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in technology-focused sectors or a strong track record in developing and executing innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts.
  • Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, ensuring efficient handling of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A personable and engaging demeanor that fosters strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with relevant business software, along with a willingness to learn new tools as needed.
  • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze market trends and leverage insights for strategic decision-making.
