Key Responsibilities:
- Focus on selling International Freight Forwarding services including Import, Export, Air, Ocean, and Road Freight as well as warehousing solutions
- Seek opportunities to generate new business and increase sales through prospecting and cold calling
- Prepare quotes for international freight forwarding services
- Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded
- Attend industry relevant events to generate leads, increase brand awareness and build relationships
Main Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years Sales & Business Development experience in the Freight Forwarding, Logistics or Shipping industries
- Must have experience selling international air and ocean freight services in addition to international Trans-Pacific East Bound (TPEB) experience
- Strong negotiation skills
- Sales hunter with the ability to sell through a consultative solutions based approach
- Ability to build lasting relationships with new and existing clients
- Happy to travel as required
