Our client a leader within the corporate housing sector is looking to hire a VP of Insurance Housing. The Vice President of Insurance Housing will have the exciting opportunity to build and lead a national division dedicated to insurance housing. 

The VP will develop and implement strategies to expand the insurance housing services across the USA, focusing on securing larger contracts and establishing the company as a leader in the industry. The role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in business development, team leadership, and operational management within the insurance housing sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to align the division’s strategies with the company’s overall objectives.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the insurance housing services nationwide.
  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including insurance companies, adjusters, and property managers, to secure large-scale contracts.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the division and build a robust network.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the division’s services and attract new clients.
  • Establish and lead the national insurance housing division, including the development of strategic plans and goals.
  • Build and manage a high-performing team dedicated to achieving the division's objectives.
  • Monitor and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Skills and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Real Estate, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Year of extensive experience working within the insurance housing, within a senior leadership role.
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance housing sector.
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and expanding a division or business unit nationally.
  • Strong business development skills with the ability to secure large contracts and build long-term relationships.
  • Excellent leadership and team-building abilities
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Awareness of insurance housing industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant industry software.
