Our client, a very well respected moving specialist is seeking Moving Dispatcher to join their team, where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations by optimizing transportation routes, coordinating resources, and promoting sustainable practices.

Position Overview:

As a Moving Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating moving jobs from start to finish. This includes assigning the right teams, vehicles, and equipment to each job, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and maintaining a safe and efficient process throughout. Your efforts will help us continue to exceed customer expectations while operating in a sustainable and resource-efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze scheduled moving jobs to assign qualified moving teams.
• Coordinate shipments, ensuring the appropriate vehicles and drivers are utilized.
• Manage the logistics of pickups and deliveries, ensuring minimal delays and high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline of available staff to meet operational demands.
• Collaborate with Operations to ensure company vehicles are maintained and serviced regularly.
• Provide daily and weekly reports on staffing, fleet usage, and internal reviews of mover positions.
• Dispatch moving teams as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics planning, ideally within the household goods and moving industry.
• Strong understanding of DOT State and Federal regulations for commercial vehicles.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Highly organized with an analytical mindset, able to interpret data and recognize patterns.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, pressure-driven environment.
