This individual will have previous work experience in a logistics or art crating company. The day to day role will include packing and construction of crates and operating wood working machinery.

Responsibilities:
- Constructing crates to meet specific requirements, standards and specifications.
- Reading and following technical drawings and job sheets to meet specifications.
- Designing structures that guarantees safe transport and protection of items, taking pressure points into consideration and making adaptions when necessary.
- Operating woodworking machinery including routers, saws and planers.
- Fitting and securing crate components, supports for crating, mounting backing materials, fitting and fastening frames.
- Identifying machines and tools needed for crate construction.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years' experience in art crating and construction.
- Experience packing, handling and installing museum objects and artwork.
- Physically fit and capable of completing role requirements.
- Proficient in using a variety of wood machining equipment.
- Skilled in technical drawing and job specification interpretation.
- Strong understanding of safety practices and standards in a manufacturing environments.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- Must have a clear police record for visa purposes.
