Sales Estimator – Birmingham, UK

As a Removals Sales Estimator, you'll work for a successful removals and relocation firm in the Birmingham area. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with industry experience to play a key part in generating accurate and competitive quotations to clients for both residential and commercial removals. Based in the heart of the West Midlands, this position allows you to build excellent client relationships while using your knowledge of the removals industry.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Conduct on-site and virtual pre-move surveys to evaluate volume, packing requirements, and accessibility difficulties.
  • Provide accurate and quick quotes for domestic, business, and international removals.
  • Liaise with the operations and planning teams to ensure that the move plans are practical and meet customer expectations.
  • Follow up with removals clients to answer enquiries, overcome objections, and confirm appointments.
  • Provide customers with information on services like as storage, packing, insurance, and specialised handling.
  • Maintain thorough records of removals estimates, communications, and conversions in your CRM system.
  • Manage and prioritise leads, converting enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  • Attend networking events and exhibitions to showcase your services and create leads.
  • Keep up with removals industry changes, competitive pricing, and customer feedback.
  • Assist the sales team with lead generation, pipeline management, and marketing strategies.
  • Ensure that all compliance and safety requirements are disclosed to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the removals sales and estimating process.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous experience in the removals, relocation, or moving industry is essential.
  • Strong estimating or surveying background, ideally within a sales-focused role.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-centric approach.
  • Competency in using CRM systems and quoting tools.
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel for site surveys.
  • Organised, self-motivated, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
