We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, to work with a leading furniture moving company based in Austin, TX.  This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, the Project Manager will take full responsibility for overseeing the field management of various projects, including the planning, coordination, and execution of all tasks. The successful candidate will ensure that each project is completed within the established budget, timeline, and scope, while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. You will be expected to manage resources, liaise with clients and third-party vendors, troubleshoot issues as they arise, and ensure all project goals are met from start to finish.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project communications with clients and third-party vendors.
  • Maintain professional client relations and act as the client interface throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support the Account Manager (AM) during walk-throughs of the project site.
  • Oversee client approvals, sign-offs, and manage all official project documentation.
  • Take field measurements when necessary, such as before drawing creation and pre-installation.
  • Manage the project scope, coordination, planning, procurement, and lead the project team.
  • Schedule installations or moves based on project scope and the client’s move-in date.
  • Review project sites, plans, and product specifications for accuracy and ensure all requirements are met.
  • Coordinate and manage communications between the client and all third-party firms, including contractors, electricians, cabling vendors, and other trades.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, attend project meetings, document client requests, and manage key decisions.

Qualifications required
  • Previous experience working within the office furniture, or similar sectors required.
  • Ideally holds a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to handle unique challenges.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds as part of the job’s physical demands.
