Our client, a well-established company in Atlanta, GA, is looking for a proactive and detail-focused Warehouse Manager to lead their warehouse operations. This is an exciting chance for a seasoned professional to contribute expertise and make a significant impact on a growing team.

As the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient handling, storage, and distribution of goods. You’ll play a key role in managing staff, maintaining accurate inventory, and ensuring the safe handling of items. Your leadership and organizational skills will be critical in creating a productive and secure work environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate handling and storage of goods.
  • Manage and schedule warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and safety.
  • Ensure inventory is accurately tracked and maintained, with regular stock audits and updates.
  • Coordinate the loading and unloading of goods for incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Maintain warehouse equipment and schedule regular maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
  • Ensure all items are safely stored, labeled, and organized to prevent damage and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely distribution and shipment of goods.
  • Monitor warehouse safety practices and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Analyze workflow and processes, recommending improvements to maximize productivity and reduce costs.


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, preferably in the moving and relocation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management best practices, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in staff training and development.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and perform light maintenance as needed.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
