Key Responsibilities:
- Increase revenue through selling the company’s Groups & MICE services
- Main point of contact for all Groups & MICE contacts
- Respond to all incoming enquiries with regards for Groups & MICE business and meeting rooms and events
- Use your in depth knowledge of the market and local area to add value to clients and increase business
- Negotiate with clients and agree contracts
- Resolve any issues that may arise
Key Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working in Reservations, Sales, Events or a Conference department
- Some sales experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and meet strict deadlines
- Experience working in the accommodation sector preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient user of software and technology including PC & Microsoft Office
