We are looking for multiple experienced Cardiac Sonographers to join our client's team in Houston.
 

What the Role Offers:

  • Hours: Monday - Friday 7.30am-4.30pm
  • Salary: Up to $124,000 + Benefits
  • Relocation expenses for eligible candidates
 

What we are Looking for:

  • Completion of an accredited program in Cardiac Sonography Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Sonography Technology is preferred.
  • Certification in Basic or Advanced Life Support is required.
  • One of the following certifications is required: Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International; Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International; Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Proficiency in lifting and manoeuvring patients with assistance to facilitate job duties.

Key Duties:

  • Conducts echocardiogram tests on patients, including preparing patients, explaining procedures, positioning patients, selecting appropriate imaging techniques, and ensuring image quality.
  • Enters and monitors patient data accurately.
  • Exhibits outstanding customer service skills and addresses issues promptly and effectively.
  • Performs equipment quality assurance checks and may assist with accreditation applications.
  • Identifies and promptly reports any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to the Supervisor/Manager.
  • Actively participates in departmental performance improvement initiatives.
  • Takes on-call duties within the department for emergencies.
  • Ensures the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary guidelines, including effective time and supply management, productivity, and service quality.
  • Encourages personal and professional development by fulfilling mandatory/continuing education requirements and demonstrating skill competency. Supports departmental goals contributing to organizational success and mentors less experienced staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
