GSA Move Coordinator – Fort Lauderdale, FL

Our client, a leader in government relocations, is looking for a careful and customer-focused GSA Move Coordinator to join their team in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This position entails supervising and managing the logistics of government relocations, ensuring smooth transitions for customers. If you have previous expertise in the moving or relocation sector and a strong desire to organize and provide excellent customer service, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Oversee and plan government relocation initiatives from beginning to end.
  • Serve as the principal point of contact for government clients, providing timely information and great service.
  • Create and manage precise relocation timelines, budgets, and plans.
  • Ensure adherence to government regulations, contractual responsibilities, and industry standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and moving workers to ensure a smooth move.
  • Manage and monitor all invoicing, reporting, and documentation related to government relocations.
  • Identify and address any concerns or challenges that arise during the migration process.
  • Monitor and track key performance metrics to ensure that service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
  • Make recommendations for process enhancements that will increase efficiency and service delivery.
  • Assist with training and development programs for government relocations.
  • When dealing with sensitive government information, adhere strictly to security and confidentiality regulations.
  • Foster strong relationships with government agencies and stakeholders to support long-term partnerships.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Prior experience in the moving and relocation industry is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of government contracts, rules, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Capable of multitasking and coordinating many moves at once.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer-service skills.
  • Proficiency with move management software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
