Our client a well-respected relocation and global mobility company based in Tokyo, Japan is seeking an experienced General Manager to join their team.
The perfect candidate for this role would be ready to hit the ground running to join an already thriving international mobility branch.
- Monitoring and, if necessary, preparing task assignment plans.
- Maintaining adequate labour levels while allocating personnel and resources to meet each business's work flow.
- Interpreting new relocations, assigning responsibilities, establishing or modifying work processes to meet production deadlines are all examples of interpretation.
- All global mobility employees are under supervision.
- Enforcing corporate guidelines and safety standards.
- Hiring of drivers and porters.
- Completion of performance evaluations in accordance with corporate global mobility guidelines.
- Aid in the driver certification process.
- Helping the operations manager oversee the training and safety initiatives at the branch.
- Solving difficulties at work, helping others, and conducting analysis.
- Ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations.
- DOT-compliant company rules are being reviewed and enforced.
- Inspection of warehouses to confirm compliance with federal regulations and industry norms.
- The ideal applicant must have prior managerial expertise in the global mobility or relocation industry.
- Previous experience working in the Japanese market
- The capacity to deal with disruptions on a regular basis and adjust to variations in workload and work schedule.
- Strong IT and communication skills.
- Attention to every detail.
