Our client, a leading Global Relocation & Mobility provider, is actively looking to hire a Country Manager to lead their operation in Sweden.
This position would best suit an experienced leadership level professional from the Relocation, Moving or Global Mobility industry. Our client is open to considering those relocating within Europe.
Key services of the business include but are not limited to Relocation, Destination Services, Global Mobility, Household Goods Moving and Immigration Services.
The Role:
You will oversee the management of Relocation, DSP Destination Services, Moving and Immigration service provision, business development, and commercial performance for the Swedish office. You will also lead the Scandinavian teams, working closely with European Heads of Operations, Immigration, Account Management and Finance.
You will play a key and significant role in business development and commercial efforts to support and expand the region's economy through new and current business, working closely with the Account Managers to maintain the highest levels of customer service and care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assuming leadership in managing operations in Sweden, devoting time to coaching managers and team leaders,
- recognising skills and areas for growth, motivating the team and guaranteeing a positive outlook and attitude at work.
- Ensuring that operations function smoothly on a daily basis while adhering to our internal global "One Voice" concept. Regularly assessing the effectiveness and coherence of operational processes, procedures, service plans, and team performance.
- Taking final accountability for our client interactions and collaborating closely with our account management teams.
- Creating solid and reliable working connections in order to maintain, preserve, and maximise the revenue that is earned from our accounts.
- Ensuring that the Account Manager maintains good service delivery in accordance with agreed-upon targets and positioning the company as the client's preferred service partner for their Relocation, Destination Services DSP, Moving and Immigration needs.
- Growing the business through new client acquisition, implementation, and business growth with current clients is a crucial component of the role.
- Creating new business prospects and ensuring that these partnerships are culturally aligned with our business.
- Achieving and exceeding the 5-Year Business Plan objectives for success.
- Solving problems and improving processes, always thinking internationally, collaborating with other worldwide offices.
- Ensuring operational compliance with policies and procedures and influencing any modifications required to satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Handling customer complaints and service problems as the senior point of escalation.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure policies are followed.
Requirements:
- Extensive knowledge of Relocation, Destination, Immigration or Moving services.
- Being fluent in English is essential. Swedish language is preferred but not essential.
- Experience managing a Swedish company and/or proven work experience in senior management roles in the Global Relocation services sector.
- Exceptional people management skills.
- Strong negotiation ability and business acumen.
- Ability to act as a brand ambassador.
- Passion and dedication to working in the expatriate services sector within a client-facing and service-focused industry.
- Strong understanding of competitors in the global mobility and relocation space.
