We are working with an International Freight Forwarder seeking a Business Development Manager based in Dover.
Responsibilities;
- Increase companies sales on a national and international basis
- Generate new business development - customs
- Manage the sales and account development opportunities
- Meet with potential and existing clients
- Account manage all clients handling freight forwarding services
- Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services and distribution channels
- Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
- Continued account management and identifying new business opportunities
- Responsible for pricing
- Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences
- Prepare presentations and proposals for clients needs and objectives
- Maintain and update internal CRM systems
Skills Required;
- 3-5 years sales experience within Customs, Sales and Logistics
- Strong account management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
