We are working with an International Freight Forwarder seeking a Business Development Manager based in Dover.

Responsibilities;

  • Increase companies sales on a national and international basis
  • Generate new business development - customs 
  • Manage the sales and account development opportunities
  • Meet with potential and existing clients
  • Account manage all clients handling freight forwarding services
  • Present to and consult with management on business trends with a view to developing new services and distribution channels
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
  • Continued account management and identifying new business opportunities
  • Responsible for pricing
  • Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences
  • Prepare presentations and proposals for clients needs and objectives
  • Maintain and update internal CRM systems


Skills Required;

  • 3-5 years sales experience within Customs, Sales and Logistics
  • Strong account management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
