We are partnering with a Freight Forwarding company who are looking for an Air Freight Specialist to join their team in the Heathrow Area.
This is a 4 on 4 off 7pm - 7am shift pattern (nightshift).
Responsibilities:
- Manage the air freight process from start to finish
- Completing customs entries and ensuring compliance with customs regulations
- Provide high levels of customer service to clients
- Ensuring all clients are served in line with their Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Liaising with 3rd parties, ensuring service delivered is in line with agreement
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
Experience required:
- Over 2 years air freight experience, also experience working for a freight forwarder
- Good knowledge of customs procedures with proven experience in classifying goods using Customs Tariffs
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong computer skills and Microsoft Suite experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
